Team Brain Injury Association

of Massachusetts laced-up those sneakers,
did "biiiig-stretches", and took to the beauteous course 
of Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 16th.

With our biggest Team ever, and perhaps the best weather we could've prayed for: BIA-MA "escaped to TheCape" {to use a Ryanism} & got pumped-up to ~float~ along the Ocean; boisterous crowds acting as their compasses + propellers!! 

(Falmouth's webpage states: "Since 2000, Falmouth Road Race, has helped charity partners raise over $80.4 million and raise awareness for their causes.")

John F. Kennedy, President we most associate with all things nautical, 

once remarked: 

“We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from 

whence we came.” 

Super Sister Courtney ran her 12th race  with Team Brain Injury Association of MA! Joining her this year was her law-school sister-friend, Robyn. We are beyond proud of those two fierce females!!

The Duo who proved my point that FAMILY is the KEY to Recovery: Karen & Austan!! 

How incredibly moving it was to watch all these runners and wheelers!!
